I have to Potty - Pregnancy @ 23 weeks

How Far along:
Depending on which official 'due date' I use, I'm officially, unofficially 23 weeks today. Since the actual expected date is not official, my emails send me updates on Sundays..
Today was quite productive... after I rolled out of bed at 11:30am.. however in my defense, I was at work last night until 1am, and probably didn't get to sleep until around 2am.. so, considering that, I think 11:30 was ok. I also had to get up at 5 or 6 am to potty.. of course, that's become a ritual, as well as 8am, when my pup Turk tells me it's time for him to go outside.

So basically, not much has changed in the last week as far as the pregnancy goes.

Food Cravings/Aversions:
I still LOVE food, and there's not much of it that I don't like right now. I'm not really having any aversions, outside of my normal picky eating habits. And I'm not having any particular cravings, outside of my abnormal eating habits I've always had. Cereal at night has always been a semi-regular occurrence for me, and that hasn't changed much.

Vitamins/Supplements, etc:
This past week I've been making a point to add greens and sources of iron to my diet, along with some sort of Vitamin C to help my body absorb the iron, as I've read that helps. Hopefully.
I've also been taking Vitamin B regularly, along with the liquid Cal-Mag (which tastes like yummy good strawberry yogurt!) So far the leg cramps have seemed to subside. Thank the Lord.

Back to today..
It had been on my mind lately to move my bedroom around, but I wasn't sure if I'd actually do it. Well.. today I couldn't resist the overwhelming urge to actually get it done. So I did. Thankfully the bed frame is on wheels, which makes moving the bed very easy to do. Its all moved around and I love it.. and hopefully will for a while. I've always been a bedroom-mover-arounder. Ever since I was little, I can remember cleaning my room and moving the bed, dresser, etc around. My husband knows I'm a nutso. Oddly enough, today he actually encouraged me to move it around. lol. I guess he knows I'm going to do it anyways.

It's the week before Christmas. Can't believe how quickly it's going by. I have some major crochet work to get finished the next couple days. I worked a bit on some tonight. I'll share when it's done. The pattern is very pretty, however, it's a bit intricate and a lot more time consuming. In the future, I probably will rarely use the same pattern, unless I sell it online for a lot of money to make it worth it.

Ope.. there's a baby in the belly and it's kicking me for attention..
time to lay here and watch :) I love this part!

New Years PROJECT 2011

Since I don't generally make New Year's resolutions, I hate to post this, but this is one thing I've been wanting to work on, and figure, since I'm sitting here taking a small break from a major project that has everything to do with what I'll call my 'new years resolution' I'll do it. It has nothing to do with diet, exercise, food or smoking. lol.
I'm in the middle of a major cleaning and organizing frenzy in my bedroom. The room that always gets put last on the list, since it's mostly only slept in, and the door is shut when company arrives. lol. I hate that. I want a clean, organized bedroom.. and not just the bedroom, but all the rooms and my mind and everything!
I recently started working from home. Which I love! I tend to make the living room my daytime office, since I also watch my nephew as well. So I usually have my laptop, paperwork, pens, phones, notes, and everything taking up half the couch... which is ok at times.. BUT.. it's usually a total unorganized mess! Which I hate. I throw stuff here and there with no real system in place and then can't find what I'm looking for...

So...
Step One: Get a good filing/work system.
Step Two: STICK TO IT!

Have I mentioned that I'm really good and the initial cleaning/organizing step.. just not so much with Step Two.. STICKING TO IT! I.. get.... lazy! lol.. can you believe that?! Me? Lazy?!.. lol. I think this is a bad habit I've had throughout my work career for sure. I can look back and recall many times I've done this over and over.
This applies to the bedroom/laundry/bathroom/kitchen as well.. well, the kitchen not nearly so much, since I'm always in there, it's usually quite organized and clean... but we'll get back to that shortly.

So today, I figure the best way to start this New years Project, we'll call it, instead of resolution, since those are stupid.. Mine is a project..(probably an ongoing on for the rest of my life).. is to start in the worst room in the house. The LOOMING BEDROOM!..
First thing this morning I got on it. Moving stuff, cleaning stuff, getting rid of STUFF!.. I actually enjoy this more than I like to admit.. I'm a weirdo that enjoys cleaning. (and I get side-tracked easily)
Actually, I began a closet-getting-rid-of-stuff-project last week, so today is really a continuation of that. But either way.. I'm working and working today on putting things together that belong, getting rid of junk I haven't touched or used in a year or more (I hate to admit).. and watching this crap hit the Donation bag or the TRASH bag!

I think the key with the bedroom are just a few small things I need to get in the habit of.. that's the key to any resolution project working, is to do it long enough to make it become a habit.. that and of course making up your mind to do it! lol
SO..
1. Get up and make the bed...
I think this sets the tone for the day. I hate seeing a cluttered unmade bed all day. Plus I tend to be more prone to throw clothes all over the unmade bed and then they end up back and forth from the bed to the basket to the chair to the bed.. you know the routine.
2. PUT AWAY LAUNDRY. ASAP!
This is huge to me. If I can get myself to put the clothes away that I've just washed, that's one thing, but my biggest problem is that when I change and rechange my outfit over and over, I throw those clothes all over, and start the mess all over.
3. ALWAYS HAVE DIRTY LAUNDRY HAMPER AVAILABLE!
This actually coincides with putting laundry away.. so that shouldn't be too hard to accomplish once I've gotten thru step 2.

Well, that's the most of it for the bedroom.. of course there are other things I want to work on, like keeping my jewelry put away, and keeping everything dusted, blah blah.. but these 3 things are the makers and breakers of a mostly clean room that make me sooo much happier :)

I think the bedroom project can help me keep other things organized in life.. like work, and my craftroom.. but that's a project for a whole different day ;)

Thoughts..
Don't Put it off.. Do It NOW!
